The Celtic Wedding
For those of Irish, Welsh or Scottish ancestry, the Celtic Wedding Package is just the ticket. Of course, anyone who wishes can also be a Celt for the day with this unique wedding ceremony. The Celts had a love of nature and a passion for the wild and elemental; they relished the sacred space, whether it be indoors or outdoors; they had love and respect for art and poetry; love and respect for the great stories and higher learning.
The Celtic marriage ceremony embraces the four elements; fire, water, earth, and air - along with respect for the "old wisdom", storytelling, and the importance of kinship and community. Included in the ceremony are; the "Holy Well", the "Blessing", the "Standing Stone", the "Rose", and several Celtic prayers and poems.
This is a Christian wedding ceremony, incorporating Celtic Christian elements passed down from the times of St. Brigit of Kildare, St. Patrick, St. Hilda of Whitby, and St. Brendan the Navigator.

Included in this unique ceremony is the ritual of "Handfasting". This is a revival of the custom which began in medieval Scotland, Northern England, and perhaps Ireland. It is a symbol used in Celtic and other cultures to express marriage. It is non-religion-specific. The four cords used in this "Handfasting" are yours to keep!
The Celtic Wedding Package is celebrated indoors, and outdoors at several different locations, and includes the following:

Complimentary limousine service from your hotel to the chapel for your ceremony, and return to your hotel
Your own private chapel for the ceremony
- The Services of the Wedding Officiant
- A Celtic Wedding Ceremony incorporating all of the elements mentioned above. (You keep the handfasting cords as important mementos of your Celtic Wedding!)
- The services of a witness, if needed
- A special small Celtic bouquet for the Bride with a matching Celtic head piece
- A matching boutonniere for the Groom
- Two long-stemmed roses for the special "Rose" ceremony

* The minister's fee is included. This package requires a $100 deposit to reserve your time. The deposit is charged upon receipt of your order. It will be deducted from the price of the package and the balance will be due no later than one week prior to your wedding day.
Because of the hand-crafting of various elements used in the Celtic Wedding Ceremony, the deposit may not be refundable. |

Outdoors:
There are sever al outdoor locations used for the Celtic Wedding. Prices range from $750 to $1,299 depending on the location and permits required. If interested please inquire. Shown left is a Celtic Wedding Ceremony being celebrated at Mt. Charleston in the winter.
